I don’t know how far I’m going to get, but I’m jotting down notes that borrow from Bruce Sterling’s Shaper/Mechanist stories, Greg Egan’s Diaspora novel, and elements from Iain M. Banks’s Culture novels. Leaning towards Traveller or FATE to run the game.
Moon Knight is the only Marvel television series where I watch each episode twice. I’m not even a Moon Knight fan, it’s that good. And it’s brilliant that Marc Spector to a supporting character. I think it would be boring if super competent Spector was always Moon Knight.
Months ago, someone of MB despaired at all the articles they’d saved to Pocket but would never read. I knew exactly what they were talking about. I ruthlessly deleted all articles I knew aid never read and slowly read what remained. As of today, I read my last saved article.
Tonight I’m taking kiddo to see Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The movie clicks in at 2 hours. Really? There’s not a single frame that couldn’t be cut to get the movie down to 90 minutes?
Love working from my kitchen table. Unfortunately I get a lot of sun and I live in an older house without air conditioning. Today’s high was 87°, and I think that’s about the threshold of what’s comfortable. Come summer I’ll need to work from my office, which is dark and cooler.

Just got off the phone with my friend. We talked about Fermi’s paradox, the great filter, Carl Sagan, free will, Bruce Sterling, Judaism, cyberpunk and more. Love that guy.
Periodically I am sick of podcasts I listen to and turn to articles I’ve saved on Pocket. Today I plowed through articles but barely made a dent. After 8 hours listening to articles on pocket I discovered I still have 200+ items to get to. I ruthlessly deleted a lot of articles.
One of the perks of working from home is always drinking fantastic coffee.
When guest djs send me their mix for Soundwave I will listen to it every day for a few weeks. Two weeks before their mix goes live I’ll listen to their mix a few more times. By the time you listen to the latest episode of Soundwave, I’ve been steeping in those mixes for months.
