This weekend while talking to my friend over the phone, I moved the conversation over to my laptop and used my Sennheiser microphone to continue talking while using my AirPods for headphones. We then switched to screen share so I could walk my friend through my setup. The whole experience was seamless and intuitive. Well done, Apple. 🍏

Salmon with Tomato Corn Salsa ⏲️
I came across this recipe years ago. I love it because it is delicious and ridiculously easy to make.
Pro tip: swap out the canned water-packed corn with Mexicali corn if available.
Ingredients
- 2 (6 ounce) salmon steaks
- 1 plum tomato, chopped
- 1/2 cup canned water-packed corn, drained
- 3 scallions, green parts only, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Dash of Tabasco sauce or other hot sauce
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Serve at room temperature alongside salmon.
- Preheat the boiler.
- Cover the broiler pan with foil and lightly grease it with butter or vegetable oil cooking spray.
- Place the steaks in the ban and broil for 5 minutes. Turn the steaks carefully and broil for 4 to 5 more minutes, or until the fish is firm to the touch but still springy and slightly translucent in the center.
- Serve immediately topped with tomato corn salsa.

Man, let me tell you, today was a hell of a productive day! I mean, I was on fire, like a goddamn creative tornado tearing through everything in its path. I grabbed my trusty storyboard and mind mapping tools, and I dived headfirst into the world of Project Boris. I scribbled down notes like a madman possessed, capturing every thought that popped into my twisted mind.
I didn’t stop there. I took a little detour to the Vikings vs. Samurai website, giving it a serious makeover. I mean, we’re talking an upgrade of epic proportions. I spruced that bad boy up, making it shine like a diamond in the rough. And to top it all off, I added a photo release form, editable and ready to roll. You know, just covering all the bases, making sure everything’s in order.
When I finally stepped back and surveyed my work, I couldn’t help but give myself a pat on the back. Not too shabby, my friend. Not too shabby at all.
Researching Project Boris means watching a lot of base climbing videos for research. It sounds like fun, but it’s pretty nerve-wracking. I have to take breaks because I have physical reactions to the videos. My gut wrenches, and the soles of my feet sweat.
Watching Star Trek V: The Final Frontier I decided that the world needs a Star Trek series starring Michael Keaton and Terry Crews as Klingons.
Today I went to what I believe was a vegan farmers market with various food trucks. I was impressed with the offerings. I moved the pierogis, the pizza was great, and the chicken and waffles were delicious. Except it was made with fava beans. Whatever. Still delicious.
