We wrapped up our Mothership game in April. This month we’re going to play in the grimdark universe of Warhammer’s Dark Heresy.
I’m going to watch Silo tonight. I’m dubious because all the characters look far too clean and healthy. And their clothes look new. Those of you who have read the books will understand.

I’ve settled on the word “cozy” to describe Micro.Blog. There’s no algorithm to hustle me. Folks post missives on pens and typewriters, share photos of warmth and whimsy. I follow people on Micro.Blog after careful consideration. I‘ve no idea who and how many people follow me, and neither do I care.
It tickles me to no end that introduced one of my oldest friends to RPGs through one of the most unlikely games: Xas Irkalla, a survival horror RPG. From there, we moved on to Mothership, a sci-fi game which ended in paranoia, betrayal and death. And now we’re going to play Warhammer: Dark Heresy.

Unfortunately, my much-anticipated IG interview with Soundwave’s guest deejay Simon Grab fell through. There’s still hope for a future chat, but I did convey what I admire about his music - the artist’s personality shines through his minimal techno style, a rarity in the genre.
One of the unique aspects of our Mothership game is the characters have access to, they can send encrypted messages, stream video, and so on. They also have complete schematics of the lab ship, Habitat, and excavation site they’re investigating. It’s not like Dungeons & Dragons in those respects.

Charlie and I have spent the last year writing, planning, and arguing on our webcomic, Vikings vs Samurai. I’m excited to share a sample of some rough pencils from our illustrator, Dejan Mandić. Having our script and notes translated into a comic book is a dream come true, and we’ve only just begun!
