I’ve been mulling it over, and it’s clear that there is an exciting and obvious storyline to explore in the Alien franchise: who at Weyland-Yutani is hellbent on getting its hands on a Xenomorph that believes it’s worth the risk of trying to exploit an invasive species? None other than Weyland’s father, played by who else, Werner Herzog.
